Lord Somers Camp and Power House offers a range of camps catering to varying parts of the community.
All camps are staffed and run by volunteers who freely donate their time and talents to provide a once in a lifetime experience for all participants.
Big Camp
Challenging Perceptions, Changing lives
Big Camp brings together young people from all walks of life for a big week of challenging activities. While working as team, participants confront the perceptions they hold about themselves and other people through a range of specifically designed activities. Big Camp is a life changing experience that teaches skills including self-confidence, motivation, leadership and teamwork.

Community Camps
Camp Diversity
Camp Diversity is a community service program for young people living with physical and intellectual challenges. The camp provides an opportunity for interaction between participants with a variety of health issues whilst promoting friendship, understanding and fun. Camp diversity is run over one weekend twice a year and is staffed by volunteers. Camp diversity is a supportive, dynamic and fun environment for all involved.

Very Special Kids (VSK)
Lord Somers Camp and Power House has partnered with the Very Special Kids organisation to provide a camp for children with life threatening illness and their families. Children are treated to weekend of good fun, good food and friendship while families are pampered and given time to relax. This camp is a much appreciated break from routine where families and kids can recharge and enjoy themselves. The Very Special Kids organisation selects participants and their families and the camp is staffed by volunteers from Lord Somers Camp and Power House.

SailAway (SAIL & CITY OF CASEY)
SailAway is a camp for young people from a refugee background that aims to create a sense of belonging and identity by supporting the development of strong social skills and access meaningful and supportive community participation.
Sudanese Australian Integrated Learning (SAIL) and the City of Casey each run one camp every year and hand pick participants. These camps are staffed by volunteers from Lord Somers Camp and Power House, SAIL and the City of Casey.

Mirabel Family Camp at Somers
Lord Somers Camp and Power House has partnered with the Mirabel Foundation to provide a camp for children and families affected by illicit drug use. This weekend is a great opportunity for participants to enjoy some energetic activities and some well deserved respite.

empowerme
empowerme is a one day youth development congress designed for year 10 students. This program encourages self exploration and understanding whist mapping a course to attain future goals. empowerme is run by young Lord Somers Camp & Power House volunteers who provide a unique, fun, formative and challenging day for participants.

Members Camps
MAX Camp
MAX is a camp run by young people for young people aimed at building self confidence, self respect, leadership and purpose. Participants are challenged to understand and believe in their own potential and that of others. The camp provides opportunities to reflect and learn tools to finding direction in participant's personal, working and community life.
Max Camp participants are young Lord Somers Camp and Power House members who have attended a big camp and one other program or camp, who have shown leadership potential.

Power2Lead
Power2Lead is a professional and personal development available to Lord Somers Camp and Power House members. The program aims at developing skills, confidence and leadership capacities of men and women through a series of innovative and practical activities. It is through the Power2Lead program we support personal growth and leadership in our members aged from about 35 to 55 years. The program addresses both personal and business effectiveness and identifies areas for growth giving participants the tools to benefit their professional and personal lives.

Quarterly Connections
A great way to catch up with fellow members of LSC&PH is through Quarterly Connections. Quarterly Connections is a luncheon for all LSC&PH members to meet and enjoy some good food, good fun and good fellowship. These lunches happen four times each year in various locations, catering for up to 150 people. It is a great way to catch up with old friends and stay in touch with the organisation.

Power House Productions
Each year Lord Somers Camp and Power House conduct a range of productions under the guidance of the Power House Thespians Guild.
